Q: Are your services confidential?
A: All our services are strictly confidential, no information is passed on to Third Parties. (Apostilled documents obviously go to the FCO).
Residential Address / Mailboxes
Q: Is it a genuine residential address?
A: Yes, the address can be checked out on Google Map.
Q: Can the address be used by my bank or for my driving license?
Q: Is it legal?
A: Yes, all you are doing is using the address for receiving your mail.
Mailboxes & Mail Forwarding
Q: Do you accept Parcels?
A: Yes, MailboxUK accepts parcels but only at the Wakefield Business Address. We do not accept parcels at the London Address or in the Residential Address.
Q: Can private individuals have a mailbox?
A: Yes, the mailbox service is available to individuals and companies.
Q: Where do you have mailboxes?
A: We have two addresses London and Wakefield. We also have PO Boxes.
Q: If I order the mailbox service, how long does it take before I can use it?
A: As soon as you have placed the order and payment is initiated, your mailbox is available.
Q: Can you send mail just within the UK?
A: We can send mail across the world.
Q: Is my address secure? How long have you been in business?
A: We commenced the mailbox service in 1992 and intend continuing for the foreseeable future.
Q: How frequently do you send mail?
A: We normally send mail out each Friday, but we can send mail out, daily, monthly or whatever the client requires.
Q: If I go away can you hold my mail?
A: Yes, just give us your instructions, we will hold your mail and send it to you when you want.
Notary & Apostille Services
Q: How long does it take to have documents Apostilled?
A: It takes about 7 days, dependant on how busy they are at Foreign & Commonwealth Office.
Q: What kind of documents do you notarise?
A: All documents must have been created in the UK. We cannot Legalise documents which were created outside the UK. Documents not in English must have a translation into English.

Q: Do we pay extra for courier service?
A: Yes, usually GBP 50.00.
Telephone Forwarding / Answering
Q: Can we have the call diverted?
A: Yes we can divert to most places, you accept all call charges from here to you.
Q: What does the number look like?
A: The number is a standard BT line, such as + 44 1924 216612 or 01924 216612.
Q: How do you answer the telephone?
A: You tell us what to say, otherwise we say "Hello EBC, sorry, there is know one here at the moment, can we take a message?".
